So, I hope you found my ranking list entertaining. So let’s get cracking with my rankings from the worst to the best. I’ve not considered music nor have I given importance to the opening scenes, as they may sway my rankings.
I’ve given all these aspects equal rating and then ranked them based on their overall score, so the ranking seems to very much reflect my personal order of liking for these movies. Now that I have binge-watched the last 9 Bond movies, I have carefully rated various aspects for each of them like the story plot, sensibility, villain’s effectiveness, overall movie’s imagery, Bond and the supporting cast’s portrayal and the overall entertainment value the movie provides. As a millennial in my early 40s (who’s watched the last 9 Bond movies in theaters and who’s fallen to the prey for all the PR that Albert Broccoli’s productions have churned out consistently), I can safely say that I have witnessed both the rise of the last two Bond actors and don’t hold a bias for any. Well now that Daniel Craig’s era is over and the rumors for the hunt for the next James Bond have begun, I believe it’s now time to give Daniel his report card, comparing him with his predecessor, Pierce Brosnan. James Bond movies ranked, from Brosnan’s charisma to Craig’s intensity.
